Ted Nugent – Motor City Mayhem – Eagle Vision

Ted Nugent – Motor City Mayhem – Eagle Vision

One Ted Nugent decides to retire from Rock And Roll, there will be no more Ted, period.  Very few rock performers can elicit the excitement, furor and jealousy that Ted receives and I doubt that few after him will.  You see, there has always been the Motor City Madman running around with his big Bodied Gibson along with his loin cloth ranting about women and nobody else doing it like he does.  Ted talking about killing animals and nobody thinking twice about it.  Most of all Ted releasing records for four decades, which is many lifetimes in the rock world now and nobody flinching.  Why?  Because we expect Ted to be there putting out disc after disc of macho fueled hard rock and that is what this DVD is celebrating.  You have Ted letting go with rock that stretches back before I was born but I still dig it because it is that good.  Ted has stood the test of time and this DVD proves it.  Take Great White Buffalo from the excellent Tooth Fang And Claw record and put it up against Love Grenade and there is no difference, it is the same great writer behind the tune.   Motor City Mayhem the DVD offers up twenty one tracks of pure Ted bliss with some great friends playing with Ted like Derek St. Holmes for Stranglehold amongst others.  This is a well shot affair and the sound is insane when turned up loudly which is how Ted prefers it anyway.  If you needed an excuse to test your hi def TV and surround sound with a sick rock n roll DVD then Motor City Mayhem is that excuse…
