Grave Digger - Liberty Or Death - Locomotive Some
of things in the metal world can be made to be unreal or plain bizarre but one
of the mainstays is Grave Digger. Since
the early 80’s they have churned out classic metal that cannot be touched.
This German powerhouse were and still are one of a kind.
The only runner-ups to their throne would be Running Wild possibly.
Their newest effort is Liberty Or Death for the Locomotive label and I
can fairly say that I am impressed. This
riff oriented blitzkrieg is a monster to itself, fueled with 10 songs of
unrelenting metal that do not cave in or give up.
Their material is traditional of Euro metal, dark passages of destruction
and pride that cannot be unnerved . Shotgun
riffs with aggressive vocals over a pounding rhythm section makes these 10
tracks bang your head at a furious pace and does not stop until the last amount
of blood is drained. I have
been a GD fan for quite some time and it never ceases to amaze me how good they
get with age and if this is telling then we will have Grave Digger around for
