Sunstorm - S/T - Locomotive I
can be a sucker for a good singer and Joe Lynn Turner is one of them.
Not many long term vocalists can boast the discography that he has and
the classic songs that his voice has graced.
Even the Deep Purple CD that fans dismissed was one of their best
considering his powerful vocals. So
we have this Sunstorm release, a powerful melodic AOR CD in its own right.
These songs have been around for awhile and they have finally seen the
light of day under the Sunstorm banner and it was well worth the wait.
The 12 tracks presented here are classic slabs of early 80s JLT during
his Elektra period and for those who remember his sole record for that label,
you will be into this as well. The
songs drift in an out of love, relationships and the normal thoughts that
inhabit a mind like Joe’s. This
is finally available in America via Locomotive so the diehards have no excuse to
not buy this. 8/10 Jeffrey
