Puddle Of Mudd - Famous - Geffen Puddle Of Mudd are survivors.
Coming out of a scene that has sense died they continue to churn out quality
music. Bands like Saliva, POD, Disturbed and Drowning Pool
released records to huge notoriety only to fade to rocks back burners while
POM continues to be very creative. Famous comes out at a time when the
music business in an upheaval and their success is hinged on what the
record sounds like most bands these days. Famous is their third record
and to me is their most solid effort. These eleven tracks
represent the best of what they have created so far and will please their fans
immensely. They seem to be looking in towards themselves with
songs like Livin’ On Borrowed Time and Famous as well as creating commentary
on the human condition with I’m So Sure and Psycho. The
find a great balance between balladry and full on rock anthems with Famous
and I am sure it will keep them Famous for years to come. CD review by Jeffrey Easton
