Arson
Anthem - S/T - Housecore When
you come across Arson Anthem in your CD racks, you might mistake it for another
cheap piece of hardcore crap but look closer for you will miss something.
The guys in this band are in fact seasoned veterans spanning across
different genres of music to throw their ideas into this raging pot of music.
Phil Anselmo, Hank Williams III and Michael Williams (Eyehategod) come
together with Collin Yeo to make a violent storm somehow fit onto one CD. Now the only drawback to this 8 track CD is the fact that it
clocks under 12 minutes, yes, -12 minutes.
This is not minimalist hardcore, there are some dangerous ideas, some
that I feel could have been fleshed out somewhat but if they feel that it is
better this way then who am I to say what is right or wrong.
I like it, I Like the anger displayed here, it is in the right context
and Phil does rage on his guitar. CD
