Mustasch
- Latest Version Of The Truth - Regain Never
before have I heard of the magnificent band from Sweden known as Mustasch but
they have made me a fast fan. After
so many years of metal some genres have left me jaded but this bands sound does
not apply here. Their unique mix of Cult (the band) like tones mixed fervently with doom laden riffs and just an
odd sonic signature is something that does not come along very often.
When Ralf belts out his louder than hell vox, he has that sense of
urgency that is missing from most of the “going through the motion” rock
releases that we are so inundated with nowadays.
The songwriting structures shows that this band knows a melody without
sacrificing the edge that the guitars inject to the groove. Their master of
instrumentation is incredible, these are amazing musicians.
The title also suggests their sense of humor which leads me to the name
of the band which is unusual but should not deter you from buying this gem of a
disc. If you have been craving
something different then you need this release.
