- Runnin’ Wild - Roadrunner Damn,
my ass has thoroughly been kicked by the Roadrunner debut by Airbourne.
Runnin’ Wild is just what the hard rock community needed after hit and
miss releases here and there for the last decade.
This is grimy, dirty sweat induced no frills Rock N Roll in the vein of
AC/DC and Dirty Looks. This is not
politically correct nor does it contain a message, it is just pure nasty rock,
perfect for fucking! The 11 tracks
here clock in at under 40 minutes but that does not matter as you will find
yourself spinning it over and over due to its addictive nature.
The combination of 2 guitars, bass and drums has always had a potent
effect to some degree but in this case it is over the top.
Joel has complete command of his vox and as dirty as they are and as
strident as the band is in their efforts this is not a fluke.
I see another Rock N Roll dynasty and you have just gotten on the first
stop. CD
