Kamelot
- Ghost Opera ~ The Second Coming - SPV Since
Kamelot have left their uninspiring power metal behind they have flourished with
albums like The Black Halo and Ghost Opera, weaving more of a dark feel to their
music. With the rabid success of
Ghost Opera SPV have re-released that heralded disc as a 2 disc set featuring an
excellent live disc and bonus studio cuts.
The live disc was recorded in Belgrade during the first round of touring
for the sinister Ghost Opera and the band was on all cylinders for this show.
The crowd was excited for the performance and the band did deliver.
The studio cuts features a remix of Rule The World but the three new cuts
are amazing. The band is so
powerful with the slower more introspective material offered here, a great
suggestion to where they may be going. Labels
reissuing releases maybe a trend but this one is well worth cashing into.
An excellent album sweetened can only be so much better.
