- Better Motorhead Than Dead - SPV/Steamhammer Motorhead,
the long running Patriarchs of metal, have done it again.
They have dealt another stunning live album, great enough to be held up
with their classic live sets from the past.
If you have seen Motorhead live, your
senses have been assaulted and
you are never the same. You
get that feeling from blasting this live disc, which was recorded at their
illustrious 30th anniversary live show at the Hammersmith Apollo in
the UK. This 2 disc set blasts
through 23 tracks of new and
classic Motorhead like Shoot You In The Back, Killers, Over The Top, No Class,
Sacrifice, Killed By Death and of course Ace Of Spades.
Lemmy is timeless, period. He
is the same guy in ‘77, 87, 97 and now ‘07.
To survive in his genre of metal this long, which is unheard of, is just
nothing short of unique. He has
watched many band members and peers come and go as he remained a stalwart in the
heavier side of metal. This live
album lives up to his standards and deserves to be in your Motorhead collection. CD
