Whitesnake - Good To Be Bad - SPV After an extremely long hiatus David Coverdale has finally properly resurrected the mighty Whitesnake. You might think that resurrecting a band like Snake during times like this would just be a reason to tour but David has gone farther than that. He has built a mighty force to be reckoned with in the melodic metal community. This 11 song collection invokes a mixture of the 70’s and 80’s, from the hard blues he started with the pop metal that made him millions. David has collected some of the best in the business here, namely Doug Aldrich and Reb Beach who sling some nasty guitars all over the songs. The ballads that Snake made famous are here as well with namely All For Love. In the perfect world there would be several hit singles here with Best Years and All I Want All I Need leading the pack. If you know Whitesnake then you know this will be in your CD player for ages and if you have yet to come by Coverdale and company then you need a primer, this is it. If this is in the cards, then David Coverdale will be back on top where he should be. CD review By Jeffrey Easton www.whitesnake.com
