Doro - Warrior Soul - Locomotive Doro
is a timeless metal warrior and the title of her new CD states just that.
Here two decade plus career has been filled with ups and downs
but like every powerhouse metal legend, she has remained true to her
craft and has persevered with
amazing album after album. Now
we are here in 2006 and she and her
amazing band have dealt yet another intriguing
record for her rabid fan base to devour. To
open with we have the classic artwork that always finds its way on the face of her records.
Her artistic rendering brings her visage to a whole new level each time
out. The music cased herein springs
to mind the majesty that is powerful moods alongside elegant seduction and more
than often in the same piece. Her
voice still exudes confidence and is as powerful as the day she put her first
notes to music. When you listen to
her music you have a sense of metal community because that is what she brings to
the table like with the title track, Shine On and Thunderspell to name a few.
Locomotive knows an amazing artist and this is an endearing artist for
the times. She has given us yet
another perfect CD of metal and you as her fans should rejoice in this Metallic
